Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on I-5 Freeway
RED BLUFF, Calif. (April 8, 2022) — A Red Bluff pedestrian accident happened Friday on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near Jellys Ferry Road.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on April 8th when a driver in a Swift big rig truck struck a woman in the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision. The truck driver reportedly stopped up the road from the crash.
Paramedics responded to help the woman who suffered a head injury, but there are no further details about her condition.
Meanwhile, CHP officers were on the scene piecing together what happened and they will determine fault for the crash.
