REDDING: Hit-and-Run Crash at Old 44 Drive and Winegar Road
REDDING, California (March 7, 2017) – An alleged hit-and-run collision occurred in the area of Old 44 Drive and Winegar Road Tuesday, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP received a call about a Mazda sedan and a black Dodge Charger which collided around 11:48 a.m. The driver of the Dodge did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
As per the report log, paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a female victim who apparently suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate degree. The patient was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
The dispatch mentioned that a Mazda sustained front-end damage following the crash. The Dodge was seen along Old 44 Drive near Clough Canyon Road.
