REDDING, California (March 25, 2016) — An adult man and a juvenile girl were hurt in a 3-vehicle collision on Lake Boulevard East/Highway 299 Thursday night near the Old Oregon Trail, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision took place about 8 p.m. between the vehicles occupied by five people. Paramedics were summoned to the scene of the crash to help those hurt and transported the man and girl to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Police temporarily closed down the highway for roughly an hour to investigate what caused the crash and assign liability.
The crash took place across the street from Shasta College. Police did not disclose which driver might have been responsible for the accident, but they will create a report that will indicate this information.
