Juvenile Hospitalized After Collision at Mistletoe Elementary School Tuesday
Redding, CA (November 16, 2021) – An 8-year-old child suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Mistletoe Elementary School.
Auto vs. Bicycle Accident in Redding, November 16
According to Action News Now, a Dodge truck was exiting the parking lot of Mistletoe Elementary School Tuesday morning. At about the same time, a juvenile riding her bicycle drove into the path of the Dodge truck.
The driver of the vehicle failed to swerve and hit the cyclist. Officials said the collision took place at about 7:48 a.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found the child with injuries. Paramedics rushed the patient to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for treatment and further evaluation.
No immediate information was available on the motorist involved in the traffic crash. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate liability in the bicycle accident at Mistletoe Elementary School.
