Rollover Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway Wednesday
Redding, CA (May 12, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a big rig accident on Interstate 5 Freeway Wednesday morning.
According to Action News Now, a big rig carrying bottled water rollover over in the southbound side of the freeway in Redding. The collision happened near O’Brien Road.
The article published online indicated rescue teams arrived at the location shortly after 6:50 a.m. First responders found two people trapped in the wreckage.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they immediately worked to extricate the victims. Emergency personnel successfully free the two parties from the overturned truck. Officials mentioned the two unidentified parties sustained injuries from the collision. However, the names of the victims and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Several factors surrounding the crash remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise circumstances that led to the big rig acident in Redding.
