Minor Injury Collision Involving a Subaru and a Tesla
REDDING, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2024) — A minor injury car accident happened in Redding on State Highway 44, just east of Auditorium Drive.
The two-vehicle collision occurred on the westbound SR-44 at around 7:49 a.m. on Dec. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Tesla sedan and a silver Subaru Outback station wagon were involved.
The driver of the Outback called 911 to report the crash and stated the Tesla braked in front of them and they rear-ended the car. The airbags deployed in at least one of the vehicles and paramedics responded due to minor injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the car accident on Highway 44 in Redding.
