Jordan Hiland Killed, Passenger Injured in Churn Creek Road Car Accident
REDDING (July 12, 2018) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a traffic collision on Churn Creek Road Tuesday afternoon.

According to Record Searchlight, 35-year-old Jordan Tony Ray Hiland was driving a 2006 Honda Pilot in the area around 5 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, the Honda went off the east side of the road and landed in a ditch near St. Luke’s Anglican Church.
Medical records indicated Hiland died as a result of the accident.
Authorities added an unidentified passenger in the Honda suffered injuries in the crash. The victim was reportedly taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of what appeared to be minor injuries.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to determine the exact cause of the deadly accident.
