2-Vehicle Crash on North Market Street in Redding

REDDING, Calif. (April 15, 2025) – A major two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday afternoon on North Market Street, just south of Lake boulevard in Redding.

The Redding Police Department reported the head-on collision occurred around 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

An alleged wrong-way driver in a blue SUV collided with a white sedan, causing the truck to overturn and major damage to both vehicles.

Redding police and paramedics responded to help those involved and fortunately both motorists survived the crash with undisclosed injuries.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
