2 Injured in Traffic Collision on Riverland Drive Friday
Redding, CA (April 2, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car accident on Riverland Drive, the KRCR News reported.
On Friday, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a white sedan crashed into a pole on Riverland Drive in Redding. Preliminary investigation revealed the female driver attempted to pass another car, then accidentally overcorrected. Subsequently, the white sedan sideswiped a truck.
The force from the impact caused the white sedan to spin uncontrollably and smash against a pole.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they found two people with injuries. The news article indicated the woman driving the white sedan was taken to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. Meanwhile, the other person received medical aid at the scene for minor injuries.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car accident on Riverland Drive in Redding.
