3 Badly Hurt in Head-On Collision Near Cheyenne Drive
Redding, CA (April 25, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 299, the KRCR News reported.
Our sources indicated a white Toyota Tacoma veered into the opposite lanes for an unknown reason; and ended up crashing head-on into a black Chevy Camaro. The collision took place in the area near Cheyenne Drive Monday evening.
Major Injury Car Accident on Highway 299 in Redding
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all the occupants in the Tacoma and the Camaro. According to the article published online, the woman behind the wheel of the Camaro sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Authorities added two parties in the Tacoma both suffered major injuries in the accident.
At this time, the names of the people hurt remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene for several hours after the crash. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic incident on Highway 299 in Redding.
