1 Seriously Injured in Redding Car Crash on Rancho Road Thursday
REDDING, CA (May 13, 2021) – A car crash on Rancho Road left at least one person seriously injured in Redding.
According to The Record Searchlight and KRCRTV News, the accident occurred on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 7 a.m.
Police said two vehicles collided on Rancho Road in Redding. The incident happened when for an unknown reason a driver left the roadway and slammed into another car.
Collision Near Shasta View Drive and Airport Road
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Shasta View Drive and Airport Road. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officials forced Rancho Road to close between Shasta View and Airport following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Redding crash.
