T-Bone Crash on Knighton Road
REDDING, Calif. (July 7, 2021) — A Redding crash on Knighton Road today involved two motorists.
The crash happened about 8:44 a.m. on July 7th on Knighton Road at Churn Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Subaru Forrester and a red Honda collided when one of them T-boned or broadsided the other vehicle, police said. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights in all directions and there is a left-turn lane from Knighton Road to Churn Creek Road.
Both motorists blocked the intersection following the collision.
Shasta County firefighters responded to help those hurt in the Redding crash on Knighton Road. Police did not mention how many people suffered injuries in the collision.
Investigators will determine fault for the accident. Also, police did not mention if any arrests were made.
