Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Hartnell and Victor Avenues Wednesday
Redding, CA (February 24, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed following a traffic accident in the area of Hartnell and Victor avenues Wednesday evening.
The KRCRTV News reported a vehicle struck an individual at the Redding intersection. The horrible crash took place shortly before 6:50 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed the victim attempted to to cross from the north to the south side of Hartnell Avenue. On oncoming 2005 Chevy Trailblazer failed to notice the pedestrian, then struck her.

The collision resulted in serious injuries to the woman. Responding paramedics rushed the patient to Mercy Hospital, but she later succumbed to her trauma and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Officials mentioned the pedestrian was not inside a crosswalk when the catastrophic incident happened.
Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian accident in Redding is ongoing.
