1 Hospitalized After Collision at Churn Creek Road and Mistletoe Lane Thursday
Redding, CA (November 18, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Churn Creek Road and Mistletoe Lane.
According to KRCRTV, a Honda Civic struck an individual standing near the Redding intersection. Preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian went onto the windshield following the impact. The victim was then thrown onto the roadway, and subsequently hit by a passing Dodge pickup truck.

Emergency crews responded to the location and immediately rendered aid to the man found lying on the ground. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transferred them to the Mercy Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. The name and age of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The article published online mentioned the two drivers were unaware of what they hit; but both motorists stopped after the collision and cooperated with the investigation process.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the crash at Churn Creek Road and Mistletoe Lane.
