1 Critical After Collision Near South Bonnyview Road Saturday
Redding, CA (February 5, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred Saturday on Highway 273.
The Riverside County News Source reported a vehicle struck an individual who attempted to cross the highway in Redding. Officials said the horrible crash took place near South Bonnyview Road.

Shortly after 6:10 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a male party lying down on the ground. Medical personnel immediately attended to the victim, then transported them to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of major trauma. Authorities continue to father information to identify the patient.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the collision appeared unharmed. The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on Highway 283 in Redding.
