At Least 1 Injured After Highway 273 Crash Near Kenyon Drive
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, September 17th
September 18, 2018 – Injuries were reported following a traffic collision on Highway 273 Monday afternoon, according to Record Searchlight.
Primary reports indicated a dump truck and an SUV collided on the part of the highway near Kenyon Drive.
Major Car and Truck Accident Monday in Redding
Shortly after 3:40 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and attended to the parties involved. An unidentified woman was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown extent of injuries. It was not immediate disclosed whether the victim was in the truck or in the SUV when the crash happened.
Police closed the highway until about 5 p.m. to give way to the investigation. No other details have been yet released. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the accident.
