At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Crash on I-10 Freeway Tuesday
Redlands, CA (May 4, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a semi truck occurred Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a white Dodge pickup slammed into the rear of the big rig in the eastbound side of I-10. The crash took place near the Ford Street offramp in Redlands.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the force from the impact left the pickup driver pinned in the wreckage. Responding firefighters worked extensively to free the victim.

Authorities later confirmed at least one person involved in the crash suffered major injuries. At this time, the name of the victim and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the car and truck accident in Redlands have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the collision happened.
