Redlands Crash Alabama Street and San Bernardino Avenue
3 Hospitalized in Critical Condition; Driver Sought by Police
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2023) — Three people were seriously injured in a hit-and-run Redlands crash between an SUV and a semi-truck at Alabama Street and San Bernardino Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 25th, according to KTLA 5 News and the Redlands Fire Department.
The driver of the black SUV collided with the big rig truck due to unknown circumstances. The motorist reportedly fled the scene, leaving three passengers with major injuries behind.
The Redlands Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to rescue at least one of the patients from the SUV due to heavy damage. Two of the victims went into cardiac arrest following the collision, the fire department report said.
Paramedics provided CPR on the scene before transporting all three people to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition, the report said.
Meanwhile, police are searching for the suspect who was driving the SUV and fled the scene.
The case remains under investigation.
