Wrong-way Driver Crash on Westbound I-10 Freeway
REDLANDS, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2021) — A head-on Redlands crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway happened early Friday morning near Ford Street.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision involving a wrong-way driver at 4:44 a.m. on Oct. 8th.
A Lyft driver in a white Nissan was transporting a passenger when it collided with a black sedan. The CHP report did not mention which driver was traveling the wrong way when the collision happened.
Paramedics responded to treat and or transport those hurt in the crash, but there are no specific details.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the crash, but it’s unknown at this time if any charges will be filed against the wrong-way driver.
