Man, 68, Killed in Redlands Head-On Crash on Alabama Street
REDLANDS (October 26, 2018) – One was killed and two were seriously injured after a traffic collision along Alabama Street on Wednesday evening, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place at about 6:40 p.m. near Riverside Bluff Avenue.
As per the article, police said a Chevrolet Suburban was going north on Alabama Street when for an unknown reason it crossed over the center line and clipped a southbound Nissan SUV.
The SUV then collided head-on with a Ford Fusion. Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded and pronounced the 68-year-old Highland man driving the Ford dead at the scene.

His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, firefighters extricated the two occupants of the Chevrolet from the wreckage.
The driver of the Suburban, 73-year-old San Bernardino man, and his passenger, a 57-year-old woman, were both transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to major degree.
Their identities and condition at this time were not disclosed. No one inside the Nissan was hurt as a result of the crash. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
