2-Vehicle Collision Near Tennessee Street Thursday
Redlands, CA (February 12, 2022) – Injuries were reported following a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on Interstate 10 on February 10.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a semi truck collided with another vehicles in the westbound side of the freeway. The accident happened near Tennessee Street in Redlands.
The CHP log mentioned the force from the impact pushed the smaller vehicle to plow through approximately 25 feet of guardrail along the highway. At this time, the make and model of the passenger vehicle involved in the collision remained unknown.

Shortly after 10:57 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the occupants in the passenger car. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck.
Meanwhile, officials later confirmed the driver of the semi truck failed to pull over following the incident. Detectives continue to work at this time to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is underway on the traffic crash on Interstate 10 in Redlands.
