At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Martin Matich Highway Wednesday
Redlands, CA (August 18, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Rout 210, also known as Martin Matich Highway, Wednesday afternoon.
Our sources indicated at least two vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the highway near Interstate 10 in Redlands. First responders found at the scene a black Chevrolet sedan.
Shortly after 12:11 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Paramedics attended to all possible victims in the collision. Following the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the injured party and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, the CHP log mentioned a motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. Officials described the suspect vehicle as a gray SUV. At the moment, detectives continue to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
