
REDLANDS, Calif. (March 2, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on the interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Mountain View Avenue happened Thursday in Redlands.
The major injury collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the I-10 about 4:49 a.m. on March 2nd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Authorities reported four vehicles involved including a white Toyota Camry, a white Honda minivan, a white Hyundai Sonata and a fourth vehicle. The Toyota Camry reportedly went off the road and one of the vehicles overturned onto its roof during the collision. The other vehicles were blocking the middle lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with the last name Salgado who suffered major injuries. The person was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for further treatment.
It’s unknown at this time how many people in total were hurt in the crash.
Tow trucks removed a couple of the vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Redlands crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
