Woman Killed, Man Injured in Redondo Beach Hit-and-Run on Artesia Boulevard
REDONDO BEACH (September 3, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed and another was injured after an alleged hit-and-run collision on Artesia Boulevard early Monday, according to KTLA and The Orange County Register.
The accident took place shortly after the 2 a.m. in the 1900 block of Artesia Boulevard.
As per the reports, Redondo Beach police a female and a male pedestrian were walking down the westbound lanes of the Artesia Boulevard when they were struck by a vehicle.

The woman died as a result of the crash while the man was immediately taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
The names of both the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
The suspect car, described as a white single cab pick-up truck, was last seen going west on Artesia.
