Tesla SUV, Ford Pickup Crash on US 101 in Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (August 13, 2024) — A Redwood City car accident happened Tuesday on Highway 101, just south of the Marsh Road off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes of US 101 at 7:45 a.m. on August 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a white Ford pickup truck crashed into the back of a white Tesla Model & SUV due to unknown circumstances. It happened in the express and No. 1 lanes of the freeway.
The Tesla had moderate rear-end damage and the Ford truck had major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded and assessed those injured including at least one person with complaints of neck and back pain.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the freeway and cleared the roadway by 8:33 a.m., the report said.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident on Highway 101 in Redwood City.
