1 Injured in Redwood City Crash on Southbound Highway 101 Wednesday
REDWOOD CITY (April 12, 2019) – A traffic collision along Highway 101 left at least one person injured on Wednesday night.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on the southbound side of Highway 101.
The two cars involved were described as silver Nissan Altima and a black Toyota Camry. The accident took place shortly after 9 p.m., just north of Woodside Road off-ramp.

One vehicle was initially believed to have gone off the roadway and plunged down an embankment as a result of the crash.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who was found bleeding from the head following the wreck.
The patient, whose name was not disclosed, reportedly suffered minor injuries upon impact.
Meanwhile, the Nos 4 and 5 lanes were blocked due to the incident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
