Motorcyclist Seriously injured in Redwood City Crash Highway 101 Near Whipple
REDWOOD CITY, CA (March 11, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist on Highway 101 near Whipple Avenue in Redwood City.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:57 p.m.
CHP said the rider of a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Redwood City. The two crashed on northbound Highway 101, just south of Whipple Avenue

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist on the right hand shoulder as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Stanford Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. The cause of the Redwood City crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the northbound lanes of Highway 101 to shut down for nearly an hour near Whipple after the wreck.
