Regassa Walkeba Dies Following December Pedestrian Accident
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2019) — Regassa Ayle Walkeba, 65, of San Jose, has died following a pedestrian accident back in December on Central Expressway, according to a report by the Santa Clara Coroner.
The victim was walking in the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle on about 8:05 p.m. on Dec. 28th. The collision took place near De La Cruz Boulevard.
Paramedics responded and rushed Walkeba to a hospital where he remained until he died on Friday, Jan. 4th.
The driver who struck Walkeba, stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
Santa Clara Accident Investigation
Police are reviewing the facts of this accident and will officially determine fault.
