Renaldo Juarez, 57, Killed in Sanger Hit-and-Run Near Greenwood and North Avenues
SANGER, CA (June 27, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed Renaldo Juarez near Greenwood Avenue and North Avenue in Sanger.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the 57-year-old Sanger man as the victim of the fatal accident which occurred on Friday.
The California Highway Patrol said a black pickup truck hit Renaldo Juarez for an unknown reason in Sanger. The driver of the car was going south on Greenwood Avenue near North Avenue at the time.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the man left lying on the ground. Renaldo Juarez died as a result of the Sanger crash.
ABC 30 News and Your Central Valley wrote that the collision took place on June 25 at around 9 p.m. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area.
Officers added that the pickup, possibly with lights on the roof, sustained front-end damage after hitting Juarez. Authorities are still searching for the suspect.
The Sanger hit-and-run collision is still under investigation.
