Cyclist Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Haven Avenue and Mission Boulevard
Ontario, CA (July 19, 2022) – Rene Morales, a 48-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Haven Avenue and Mission Boulevard.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Morales was on a bicycle riding around the streets of Ontario Sunday morning. Earlier reports indicated the cyclist collided with another vehicle when they approached the intersection of Haven and Mission.
The violent crash took place on July 11 around 8:50 a.m.
Deadly Bicycle Accident in Ontario
Emergency crews later arrived and immediately rendered aid to the injured bicyclist. Our sources mentioned paramedics transported the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. On July 17, at approximately 11:21 p.m., the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities later identified the deceased as Rene Morales, of Fontana.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision that happened at Haven and Mission.
