2 Women Killed in Collision in Lancaster
Lancaster, Calif. (October 18, 2021) – Renee Scott, 57, of Fontana, and Brandi Marie Aldana, 37, of Lancaster, both died Saturday morning in a solo-vehicle crash at Avenue I and Sierra Highway in Lancaster, ABC7 News reported.
About 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16th, two women in an SUV died and two people were injured when the vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway at the intersection in Lancaster. Police officials reported the SUV went off the roadway, slammed into a pole and overturned.
Due to the force from the impact, the passengers in the SUV sustained serious injuries. Paramedics responded and performed life-saving measures to the victims, but they both sadly died.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified Brandi Aldana and later, Renee Scott.
2 Injured in Lancaster Crash
Two other occupants in the same SUV suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics transported the patients to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the fatal car crash at Avenue I and Sierra Highway.
