Reyna Cristobal, 47, Killed in Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident on First Street

SANTA ANA, CA (April 17, 2021) – A pedestrian accident along First Street killed Reyna Cristobal in Santa Ana on Friday evening.

The Orange County coroner’s office identified the 47-year-old transient woman as the victim of the fatal collision on April 16.

The incident happened when Reyna Bravo Cristobal was crossing First Street, west of Bewley Street, in Santa Ana. At the same time, a vehicle was going south on First Street.

Police said for an unknown reason, the driver struck Reyna Cristobal. According to the article published by My News LA, officers reported the pedestrian accident shortly before 7:50 p.m.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found her lying on the ground and suffering from injuries as a result of the crash.

Medical personnel rushed Cristobal to a hospital, where she soon died. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped after hitting the woman.

The cause of the tragic pedestrian collision is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Santa Ana police at 714-245-8219.
