Rialto Crash Interstate 210 Freeway, Ayala Drive (May 6)

2-Vehicle Crash in Rialto on the I-210 Freeway

RIALTO, Calif. (May 6, 2022) — A Rialto crash on the Interstate 210 Freeway happened Friday morning, just east of Ayala Drive.

The Rialto collision occurred about 7:47 a.m. on May 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials responded and located a gray Dodge Ram pickup facing the wrong way in the middle traffic lane. Also, a white 2-door 2007 BMW 335i and, possibly a third vehicle were involved. The vehicles blocked the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the westbound I-210 Freeway.

Paramedics rushed at least one person with minor injuries to Arrowhead Medical Center for further treatment.

Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Rialto crash.

Finally, the investigation into the crash is ongoing. Witnesses to the Rialto collision may contact the CHP.
