Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near Sierra Avenue
Rialto, CA (January 24, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 210 Freeway.
Officials said a white Kia Optima struck an individual in the eastbound side of the freeway near Sierra Avenue in Rialto. CHP logged the case on January 24, Tuesday.
Our sources indicated two other vehicles possibly ran over the body lying in the traffic lanes. The make and model of the other cars involved in the horrible crash have not been revealed thus far.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 210 in Rialto
Shortly after 9:55 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical staff, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Interstate 210 in Rialto.
