Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on SR-210 Friday
Rialto, CA (May 8, 2021) – On May 7, Friday, a deadly pedestrian accident occurred on State Route 210 in Rialto.
The Fontana Herald News reported a car struck an individual on 210 Freeway near Riverside Avenue. At the moment, the make and model of the vehicle involved in the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Rialto, May 7
Shortly after 5:05 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the male pedestrian but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division briefly identified the fatal victim as a 60-year-old man. Authorities continue to withhold his name pending confirmation, and notification of next of kin.
Additional details the unfortunate event remained undisclosed. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the deadly pedestrian accident in Rialto.
