2 Killed in Rialto Crash on 210 Freeway Near Ayala Drive and Alder Avenue
RIALTO, CA (September 19, 2021) – Two were killed after a car crash on the 210 Freeway near Ayala Drive in Rialto.
According to an article published by the CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3:45 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Rialto. They crashed on the eastbound 210 Freeway between Alder Avenue and Ayala Drive.
2 Cars Collide, Roll Over
Both cars rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed that two people died as a result of the collision.
The names of the deceased parties remain unreleased pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the fatal Rialto crash is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, CHP forced two lanes of the eastbound 210 Freeway between Alder and Ayala to shut down for hours following the wreck.
