Rialto hit-and-run crash 210 Freeway
1 Injured in Rialto Hit-and-Run Crash on Westbound 210 Freeway Near Ayala
RIALTO, CA (August 24, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on the 210 Freeway in Rialto.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck on August 23 at about 8:48 p.m.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck a silver Toyota Corolla in Rialto. The two crashed for an unknown reason on the westbound 210 Freeway, just west of Ayala Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found an occupamt of the Toyota Corolla left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that other driver did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway near Ayala to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Rialto hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
