Ricardo Beltram, 29, Kills Women in South Natomas DUI Crash

SACRAMENTO, CA (July 16, 2021) – Authorities detained Ricardo Beltram after a fatal DUI crash in the South Natomas area of Sacramento.

Police determined that the 29-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol when the wreck occurred on Saturday.

The incident began when Ricardo Beltram struck another vehicle in the South Natomas neighborhood. They crashed at the intersection of Arden Garden Connector and Northgate Boulevard.

Two 28-year-old Sacramento women riding the victim car died at the scene. The coroner’s identified them as Raquel Hudson and Dejuana Byrd.

A third person sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics then rushed the wounded patient to a hospital for treatment.

The Sacramento Bee and ABC 10 News wrote that the accident took place on July 10 at around 2:30 a.m.

Police soon arrested Ricardo Beltram on suspicion of two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing death or injury

They booked him into the Sacramento County Main Jail in lieu of a $2 million bail. The South Natomas DUI crash is still under investigation.
