
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 11, 2023) – Ricardo Isai Cordova-Mejia, 39, of Los Angeles, died in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in the south Los Angeles area.
The traffic collision occurred around 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 9th at Hoover and 74th streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Los Angeles Police Department reports the driver involved fled the scene in a silver sedan.
After hitting the victim, the vehicle carried the victim roughly about a block to 75th Street where the victim was pronounced dead by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, the report said.
There is a standing reward of up to $50,000 offered by the city of Los Angeles. Anyone with information that helps authorities solve a fatal hit-and-run crash could claim some or all of the reward money.
