Ricardo Valenzuela, 24, Killed in Whittier Crash on Workman Mill Lane
WHITTIER, CA (November 26, 2022) – Ricardo Valenzuela was killed after a crash on Workman Mill Lane in Whittier.
The coroner’s office identified the 24-year-old Hacienda Heights man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Friday.
The incident happened when Ricardo Valenzuela was riding a vehicle which collided with another for an unknown reason in Whittier. The two cars crashed at 2050 Workman Mill Lane.
2 Injured in Wreck
The KTLA News and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on November 25 at around 3:15 p.m. A California Highway Patrol dispatch described one of the cars as a black SUV.
Ricardo Valenzuela ended up ejected from his vehicle as a result of the crash. Paramedics arrived and soon pronounced him dead at the scene.
A mother and a child in the other car sustained unspecified injuries following the collision. Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Workman Mill Lane to shut down for a time after the wreck. The cause of the Whittier crash is still under investigation.
