Richard Anthony Myers Fatal Victorville Pedestrian Accident Monte Vista Road
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (May 1, 2025) — Richard Anthony Myers, a 48-year-old Victorville man, died early Wednesday when he was struck by a car while riding a motorized mobility scooter at Monte Vista Road and Dos Palmas Road in Victorville.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department it happened at around 3:49 a.m. on April 30, 2025.
The Victorville Police Department and Victorville Fire Department responded to the scene of the vehicle versus pedestrian accident involving a driver in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a mobility scooter ridden by Richard Myers.
The Ford was heading southbound on Monte Vista Road when it struck the Victorville man, causing fatal injuries on the scene.
The driver of the truck stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Meanwhile, the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded and they are heading up the investigation.
