Vehicle Fatally Hits Man Near Kampong Court
Oroville, CA (June 8, 2023) – Richard Coin, a 53-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Olive Highway Wednesday evening, June 7.
The ABC7 News reported a vehicle struck a male party near Kampong Court in Oroville. Officials described the car involved in the horrible crash as a 2015 Dodge Charger.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Oroville
Shortly after 8:19 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found the victim lying on the southbound shoulder of Olive Highway. Medical personnel conducted life-saving measures but the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and sadly died. The Oroville Police Department later identified the fatal victim as Richard Coin.
Authorities mentioned the driver of the Dodge remained at the site and cooperated with the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the unfortunate event that happened on Olive Highway in Oroville.
