Richard Faulkner Killed in Desert Hot Springs Pedestrian Crash at Langlois and Dillon
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (September 9, 2021) – A pedestrian crash killed Richard Faulkner at Langlois Road and Dillon Road in Desert Hot Springs.
The coroner’s office identified the Desert Hot Springs man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Wednesday.
The incident happened on September 8 when a vehicle struck Richard Faulkner for an unknown reason in Desert Hot Springs. The driver hit him at the intersection of Langois Road and Dillon Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found him down on the ground as a result of the crash. KESQ News and My News LA wrote that officers reported the accident shortly after 8:05 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department pronounced Richard Faulkner dead at the scene of the pedestrian collision. Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man.
Officers forced the area of Langois and Dillon roads to shut down for hours following the collision. The cause of the Desert Hot Springs pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
