Man, 69, Killed in Crash on River Road
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 30, 2023) — Richard Gene Konlon, 69, of Orlinda, died in a motorcycle accident Saturday on River Road in Sacramento.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 27th, across the river from Clarksburg, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
Richard Konlong was riding his motorcycle across on River Road when a driver struck him due to unknown circumstances.
He suffered major injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger in the involved vehicle had complaints of pain, but no serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but authorities do not suspect DUI. Our thoughts and prayers extend to the family of Richard Konlon.
