Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in Crash at Intersection
PALM SPRINGS (June 3, 2018) – Richard Lowry, 77, of Sebastopol, died Saturday night in a collision between a car and his motorcycle on South Palm Canyon Drive, just south of Sunny Dunes Road, according to the Desert Sun.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., a driver in a Chevrolet and a 3-wheeled Slingshot motorcycle collided at the intersection.
Lowry suffered major injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by police to determine liability.
Palm Springs Accident Investigation
The investigation into what happened here continues as police piece together the evidence. We do not know at this time what caused the motorcycle rider and the vehicle to crash.
