Richgrove Car Accident State Route 65 and Avenue 12

RICHGROVE, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2025) — A major injury car accident happened Friday morning on state Route 65 at Avenue 12 in the Richgrove area of Tulare County, California.

At least one vehicle was involved in the collision on southbound SR-65 at 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver went down an embankment and landed on power lines.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person who suffered major injuries and transported them to a hospital.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on state Route 65 in Richgrove.
