2-Vehicle Crash in Richmond on Interstate 80
RICHMOND, California (March 15, 2022) — A two-vehicle Richmond crash happened Tuesday morning on the Interstate 80 Freeway near the Cutting Boulevard off ramp.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of the I-80 about 4:52 a.m. on March 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Toyota CRV and a white Ford Ranger pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. The pickup truck had front axel damage following the collision.
Paramedics with the Richmond Fire Department responded with an ambulance to help those injured, but there are no further details provided in the CHP dispatch.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash as the fast lane and number two lanes were blocked.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Richmond crash on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
