Pedestrian Killed in Richmond Hit-and-Run Near Hilltop and Moyers Drives
RICHMOND, CA (November 17, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run crash near Hilltop Drive and Moyers Drive in Richmond.
According to an article published by the East Bay Times, the tragic accident took place early Wednesday. Officers reported the incident at around 2:20 a.m. near the Hilltop Mall.
The incident began when vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason near the intersection of Hilltop Drive and Moyers Drive in Richmond.
Victim Hit by 2 Cars
Police said the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area. After some time, another car approached and ran over the victim.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the victim lying in the westbound lane of Hilltop Drive. They soon pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police affirmed that the second motorist stayed at the site and cooperated with the officials. Officers forced the corner of Hilltop and Moyers to shut down for a time following the collision.
