2 Injured in Railroad Incident at Highway 162 and Riceton Highway Sunday
Richvale, CA (April 11, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident involving a train in the area of Highway 162 and Riceton Highway in Richvale Sunday evening.

The Action News Now reported a passenger vehicle collided with a train at the Richvale intersection. At the moment, the make and model of the car found at the scene remained undisclosed.
Shortly after the incident, emergency teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics checked the condition of all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities mentioned two people sustained major injuries as a result of the incident.
According to the news article published online, an ambulance transported one patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Additional details on the collision have not been revealed thus far. Given that, investigators assigned to handle the case stayed at the accident scene the whole night to determine the precise cause of the car and train accident in Richvale.
