1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Crash at Dominion Way and Elverta Road
RIO LINDA, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2021) – Rick Musselman, 47, died in a collision on Sept. 26th at Dominion Way and Elverta Road in Rio Linda.
The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified him on their website.
The deadly crash happened about 1:56 p.m. on Sept. 26th between two vehicles, according to the ABC 10 News and CBS Sacramento.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District sent paramedics to the intersection where they located three people hurt in the wreckage.
Firefighters rescued all three people suffering from minor to major injuries. Rick Musselman was among those taken to the hospital, but sadly he later died of his injuries.
Meanwhile, the other two individuals sustained minor injuries from the crash. They were treated at the hospital and released.
Officials closed down Elverta Road near Dominion Way to investigate the crash.
The cause of the fatal Rio Linda crash is still under investigation.
